UX Designer
Hexagon
• Work on the design of embedded experiences (in-cab HMI) and Developer Experience (DX) for APIs/SDKs, focusing on reliability and safety by performing the following activities: • Conduct quantitative and qualitative field research (in-cab) and with developers for APIs/SDKs; • Prototype HMI flows (engagement, alerts, handover) and API portals; • Document Personas, Journeys, and multi-platform Service Blueprints (embedded/web); • Evolve the Design System with robust cabin-grade components (high contrast / glove-friendly / sunlight-readable); • Specify solutions and contracts (OpenAPI/AsyncAPI), acceptance criteria, and error states; • Instrument UX/DX telemetry, formulate hypotheses and validate them with experiments/simulations; • Benchmark agricultural HMIs and DX (portals, docs, quickstarts); • Facilitate workshops with Firmware / Control / Safety / Agronomy / Field Ops and partners; • Ensure reliability and safety: offline experiences, fallbacks and safe handover; • Advantage: apply AI in research, prototyping, documentation and generation of examples/SDKs.
Job Requirements
- Practical experience in UX/UI design
- UX foundations: Design Thinking, Nielsen heuristics, information architecture
- Experience with APIs and DX: OpenAPI/AsyncAPI, Swagger/Stoplight, Postman, versioning and quickstarts
- Prototyping in Figma (wireframes and interactive prototypes)
- Experience with Design Systems (components, tokens and documentation — e.g., Storybook/Zeplin)
- Research and testing: interviews, in-context testing and telemetry analysis
- AI in design: using AI for feedback/log analysis, UI/microcopy variations and accessibility checks
- Advanced English
- Strong communication skills, creativity; self-directed learning and willingness to take on challenges.
