The Advanced Primary Care Management (APCM) Supervisor is responsible for the overall daily workflow, clinical quality, and operational performance of a remote team of up to 20 Registered Nurses (RNs). This role requires a balance of clinical auditing and performance coaching to ensure compliance with clinical quality standards, while also holding the team responsible for achieving defined productivity metrics in a remote work environment. This individual will also serve as a key partner in meeting the ongoing training and education needs of the team. This role will report directly to the APCM/Chronic Care Management (CCM) Manager. Required Skills - Clinical Proficiency: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) compact license and strong clinical knowledge, ideally within Advanced Primary Care Management (APCM) or chronic care management experience, to effectively conduct RN performance and documentation audits. - Leadership and Coaching: Exceptional performance coaching and mentoring skills for addressing performance concerns, providing structured feedback, and managing the overall performance of direct reports. - Remote Management: Proven ability to successfully lead, motivate, and manage a team of up to 20 RNs in a fully remote work environment. - Operational Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize productivity metrics and operational data to manage workflow and drive team accountability. - Interpersonal Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for team leadership, conducting productive 1:1 meetings, and collaborating effectively with the Training Supervisor. - Administrative Oversight: Highly organized with demonstrated proficiency in administrative duties, including managing schedules, PTO requests, time off, and other necessary team administration. - Recruitment Support: Experience participating in the interviewing and selection process for new team members Key Responsibilities - Operational Performance Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day workflow for a remote team of up to 20 RNs. Hold team members accountable for achieving productivity metrics and operational standards critical to the APCM program success. - Clinical Auditing and Quality: Conduct regular audits of RN performance and documentation to assess compliance, clinical quality, and adherence to established protocols. - Performance Coaching: Identify performance concerns and provide structured, supportive coaching to team members, utilizing audit findings and productivity data. - Team Leadership: Conduct regular 1:1s and manage the overall performance of direct reports, including implementing performance improvement plans as necessary. - Training Collaboration: Work in close partnership with the Training Supervisor to ensure all clinical education and ongoing training needs for the team are fully met. - Day to Day Oversight: Manage and maintain the team schedule to meet operational needs, including the handling of PTO, time off requests, and other necessary administrative duties. - Recruitment and Selection: Be actively involved in the interview and selection process for new RN team members. Required Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing Registered Nurse (RN). - Active, unencumbered compact RN license is required, with additional single-state licenses preferred - Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience, with emphasis on clinical quality assurance, auditing, and performance management - Demonstrated experience overseeing a high-volume, metric-driven operational environment. - Prior experience working in or supervising a remote workforce is highly preferred.
