Associate Director – Cloud Solution Architect, Azure

Guidehouse

• Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to support and advise healthcare clients in design and implementation of secure, scalable solutions across Microsoft Azure and AWS. • This role requires expertise in healthcare regulatory compliance, cloud governance, and modernization initiatives, with the ability to lead architecture efforts that align technical solutions to clinical and operational objectives. • Design and deploy secure, scalable Azure and AWS solutions for healthcare applications and data workloads. • Translate healthcare business and technical requirements into cloud architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, HITECH, and related healthcare regulations. • Define and implement cloud governance, identity, encryption, and security monitoring aligned to Zero Trust principles. • Architect secure integrations for EHRs, HIEs, and interoperability solutions using HL7 and FHIR standards. • Lead cloud migration, modernization, high availability, and disaster recovery designs aligned to RTO/RPO objectives. • Develop infrastructure-as-code using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation. • Optimize cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency using FinOps practices. • Produce architecture documentation and mentor technical teams on cloud best practices. • Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare client executives, leading cloud architecture decisions and aligning solutions to clinical, operational, and regulatory priorities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience architecting Azure and/or AWS solutions in a healthcare environment
  • Experience designing secure, compliant cloud architectures for sensitive healthcare data
  • Experience supporting hybrid or multi-cloud environments
  • Experience in a consulting, advisory, or client-facing role, ideally engaging directly with executive and senior-level stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Azure services including VMs, Entra ID, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, AKS, Networking, Monitor, and Key Vault
  • Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, VPC, Load Balancing, CloudWatch, KMS, and Route 53
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and interoperability standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, HL7, FHIR)
  • Experience with automation and IaC tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or CloudFormation

We're growing our European field team and looking for a Solutioins Engineer who wants to get into the room (or the call) where real AI infrastructure decisions get made. This is a key role on a technical field team. You'll work closely with senior engineers and account executives, learn how enterprise AI systems are designed and sold, and own technical engagements with customers. Tasks - Support technical evaluations and proof-of-concept builds alongside senior Solutions Engineers and Account Executives, helping prospects test Qdrant against their real workloads. - Build demo environments, sample integrations, and reference architectures that showcase Qdrant's performance advantages in RAG pipelines, semantic search, and agentic systems. - Respond to technical questions from prospective customers, translating infrastructure requirements into working solutions. - Learn the competitive landscape across vector search and AI infrastructure, and contribute to battlecards, technical guides, and internal knowledge bases. - Represent Qdrant in online communities, developer forums, and European tech events as you build your own technical presence. - Work directly with our product and engineering teams to surface customer feedback that shapes the roadmap.
