Inside Sales Representative
JELD-WEN, Inc.
• Communicating with customers and making outbound calls to potential customers • Following up on leads and understanding customers' needs • Keeping up with product and service information • Creating and maintaining a database of customers • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services • Researching and qualifying new leads • Closing sales and achieving sales targets • Upselling products and services • Collaborating with company personnel to resolve customer issues • Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information to customers and employees
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Titan and CRM software such as Salesforce.com
- Excellent phone and cold calling skills
- Strong listening and sales skills
- Ability to achieve targets
- Associate degree in business or technical discipline and/or 3 to 5 years’ experience in sales support (preferred)

Experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD). Ability to work independently, plan effectively, and make informed business decisions without direct supervision. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a DOT-certified truck up to 16 feet in length. Clean driving record and ability to pass and maintain a DOT Medical Physical and DOT Medical Card with a minimum 1-year renewal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of sales strategies and inventory management. Ability to travel and work flexible schedules as needed.
