Job Description: The Parsons Mission Software Factory is looking for an experienced operations analyst/ subject matter expert with a broad background in military Command and Control (C2) processes and systems to perform a wide range of tasks on multiple projects. What You'll Be Doing: - Responsibilities will include but are not limited to analyzing customer requirements, user interface design, assisting with software development through interaction with software engineers, software functionality testing, preparation of operator training materials, and remote customer demos/training - The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who can thrive in a fast-paced environment employing agile methodologies. What Required Skills You'll Bring: - Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 10 years of experience in military C2. Eight (8) years of additional experience, applicable training and/or certifications may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree. - Current or recent experience in Combat Plans Division (CPD), Combat Operations Division (COD), Strategy Division (SRD) or Operational Assessment Team (OAT) within Theater Air Operations Center (AOC) or Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) - Ability to learn and apply skills related to new functional areas - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel - Ability to lead training events to military and technical personnel - Ability to provide exercise support during military training events in functional areas throughout CPD, COD, SRD, or OAT - This position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense level security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract. O'Connell in the Department of Economics. Responsibilities include literature review, data analysis, and presentations. Weekly meetings as well as ad hoc coordination meetings will also be expected. Research Assistant — Duties This is a half-time position supporting a mixed-methods study of livelihoods policy and social cohesion in post-conflict Iraq, conducted in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The RA works under the supervision of PIs O'Connell (Emory) and Masterson (UCSB).
