Lead Full Stack Engineer

Humana

• Perform software engineering activities in all layers of the stack, from setting up the database to programming in the back-end and the appearance at the front-end. • Work on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. • Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. • Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks. • Lead technical architecture and design and present vision. • Partner with senior business and functional leaders to define technical direction. • Deliver business-critical systems and components with high quality and on time. • Lead by example by doing hands-on platform, backend, and frontend development. • Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback. • Investigate and propose new ideas, frameworks, technologies, or processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence development operations, including proficiency in implementing, maintaining, and monitoring ML/AI pipelines using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of agentic ai process
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with cross-functional teams such as ARB/TRB and EA/EAI teams
  • Experience working in Centers of Excellence (COEs) and executing playbooks
  • Proficient understanding and tech-lead level experience in one or more programming languages (VueJS, TypeScript, NodeJs, Java, etc.)
  • Experience with Spring/Spring Boot
  • Experience with React Native
  • Experience with JSON, RESTful web services, and client-server interactions
  • Experience with highly scalable websites and web services (Vue.js, NodeJS, Microservices patterns, Angular etc.)
  • Knowledge of and experience with Azure or equivalent cloud provider
  • Environment management/orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, etc.)
  • Adobe Experience Platform experience is a plus
