Business Development Representative

• Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge of all Gordian products and solutions in assigned territory or vertical market • Produce Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) using established criteria and coordinate engagements with our Field Sales Representatives • Develop and manage lead funnel within assigned territory or vertical market • Engage prospects using phone, email, and social media platforms • Align efforts with Marketing on strategic campaigns to grow existing customer base in regions where an anchor client is established • Identify dormant accounts/ closed lost opportunities with Field Sales and drive re-engagement efforts • Collaborate with Sales Ops, Marketing, Operations, and Group Purchasing partners for resources and support in strategically targeting assigned territory • Track and manage prospecting, qualification, outreach, and nurture activities in our CRM platform (Salesforce.com) and in our sales engagement software (SalesLoft) • Embrace the FBS philosophy and consistently utilize the daily management tools provided to track and drive performance against individual and team goals • Adhere to standard work practices and consistently perform at a level achieving and exceeding all activity and sales metrics

Job Requirements

  • 2 or more years of Business Development and prospecting experience in the B2G or B2B environment
  • Bachelor's degree desired, but relevant work experience will be considered
  • The ability to research and identify leads and move them through a formal sales process effectively
  • Proven skills at building and maintaining effective client relationships
  • Track record of successfully reaching, and exceeding, established sales quotas
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and listening skills, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers and all levels of management
  • Discipline to maintain high activity level and call volume while tracking all activities in our CRM platform (Salesforce.com) and sales management Software (SalesLoft)
  • Strong attention to detail; making and keeping commitments and meeting deadlines
  • Capital planning and construction procurement knowledge is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Job Summary Responsible for processing and managing member enrollments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements for Medicare lines of business. • Manage day-to-day sales across the shows • Lead by example - responsible for delivering personal sales targets across the events • Proactively deliver the show strategy across new and existing business • Deliver the campaign strategy as set out by the Event Directors, exceeding show targets including overall numbers of exhibitors, exhibitor mix, stand sales, sponsorship inventory, yield, and sponsorship revenues • Ensure the sales plan is being delivered on target and budget, and that activity targets (outbound call volumes and face-to-face meetings) are met • Visit and canvas at competitor and industry events, developing a systematic understanding of and monitoring of competitors • Manage the prospect database to ensure it is constantly updated and fit for purpose in line with the company's CRM policy • Ensure a constant high quality of delivery in all prospect, exhibitor, and partner communication, ensuring the message is on point • Work with, collaborate with, and support the US-based Content Manager in identifying and sourcing companies for exhibiting or sponsoring content streams within Vehicle Tech Week Brands • Execute the Event Director & team's strategy and objectives outlined in the event's business plan • With the Event Director, develop an exhibitor campaign strategy including vertical and horizontal activity • Ensure you are regularly out meeting customers, prospects, and event partners (at least one day every fortnight) • Ensure that the exhibitor marketing strategy is delivered, monitored, and analysed • Identify, implement, and manage profitable show features • Monitor and report competitor activity, taking actions where necessary • Get close to your market, understand its trends, and develop your event around it • Maintain an accurate stand and sponsorship ledger • Regularly reconcile sales ledger, accounting ledgers, and CRM sales logs • Provide a monthly report and forecast on show revenues, contribution, manpower, and actions being taken for the shows to achieve the budget • Foster positive and professional relationships with key suppliers, associations, media, and commercial partners
