Overview MicroTech is seeking a Director of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to lead and grow our AI capability across the business and for our customers. This is not a maintenance role, and it is not simply a senior engineering role. This is a leadership position for someone who understands both the business and technical sides of AI/ML and can turn emerging technologies into practical, scalable, and marketable solutions. The right candidate will assess what we have today, strengthen and lead the current team, define a clear roadmap, and build solutions that improve internal efficiency while helping customers solve real operational and mission challenges. This person must understand how to evaluate and leverage commercial off-the-shelf AI/ML tools, determine when custom development adds value, and guide the company in building solutions that make those tools easier to use, more functional, and more relevant to customer needs. Role Description The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating a variety of manufacturing equipment under supervision. This role ensures production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. - Operate assigned equipment efficiently and accurately. - Ensure production targets and schedules are met. - Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with specifications. - Promptly notify the Machine Group Leader of any quality issues or deviations. - Report equipment malfunctions or downtime to the Group Leader immediately. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols and using appropriate protective equipment. - Support other team members and departments as needed. Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. - Familiarity with component identification and IPC-A-610 standards. - Ability to follow detailed written instructions and work with hand tools. - Strong multitasking and time management skills. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Willingness to operate various machines as directed by the supervisor.
