Overview MicroTech is seeking a Director of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to lead and grow our AI capability across the business and for our customers. This is not a maintenance role, and it is not simply a senior engineering role. This is a leadership position for someone who understands both the business and technical sides of AI/ML and can turn emerging technologies into practical, scalable, and marketable solutions. The right candidate will assess what we have today, strengthen and lead the current team, define a clear roadmap, and build solutions that improve internal efficiency while helping customers solve real operational and mission challenges. This person must understand how to evaluate and leverage commercial off-the-shelf AI/ML tools, determine when custom development adds value, and guide the company in building solutions that make those tools easier to use, more functional, and more relevant to customer needs. Responsibilities - Lead AI Strategy and Execution: Define and drive MicroTech's AI/ML roadmap across internal operations, customer offerings, and long-term growth initiatives - Build Business-Focused AI Solutions: Develop practical AI capabilities that improve efficiency, support decision-making, and create value for both MicroTech and our customers - Evaluate and Leverage COTS Tools: Assess commercial AI/ML products and platforms, determine best fit, and identify opportunities to enhance them through MicroTech-led development and integration - Guide Product and Solution Development: Turn AI concepts into repeatable offerings, reference architectures, and managed solutions that can be deployed internally and for commercial and Federal customers - Lead and Strengthen the Team: Provide leadership, direction, and accountability for the existing AI/ML staff while helping build a stronger, more disciplined capability over time - Support Customer Growth: Work with leadership, business development, and technical teams to help position AI/ML solutions in the market, support demos and proposals, and show customers how AI can solve business and mission problems - Drive Secure AI Adoption: Help shape secure on-prem and private cloud AI solutions, including environments where customers want to use AI against proprietary or sensitive data without relying on third-party public cloud services - Create Repeatable Delivery Models: Develop approaches for implementation, support, monitoring, optimization, and managed services so AI solutions can be delivered consistently and profitably Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, information systems, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred - 10+ years of progressive experience in technology, software, data, AI/ML, automation, or digital transformation roles - 5+ years of leadership experience with responsibility for strategy, execution, and team development - Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, including large language models, machine learning, NLP, retrieval/search, intelligent automation, and model deployment - Experience evaluating, implementing, and integrating commercial AI/ML platforms and tools - Demonstrated ability to translate technical capabilities into business solutions, products, or customer offerings - Experience leading cross-functional teams and working effectively with executives, engineers, operations personnel, and business stakeholders - Strong communication skills and the ability to explain AI/ML concepts in practical business terms - Experience in a small business or growth-oriented environment where speed, flexibility, and practical execution matter Nice to Have - Experience supporting Federal, Defense, or other regulated-industry customers - Familiarity with secure on-prem, hybrid cloud, or private cloud AI environments - Experience with knowledge management, document intelligence, enterprise search, or workflow automation solutions - Background in productization, managed services, or recurring service delivery models - Experience developing AI solutions that move beyond prototypes into real operational use Why This Role Matters: - This role will help define how MicroTech uses AI internally and how we take AI solutions to market - The right leader will help transform our existing AI efforts into a stronger, more structured, and more valuable business capability - This is a high-impact leadership opportunity with direct influence on innovation, growth, customer value, and long-term competitive advantage - Success in this role will help MicroTech build AI solutions that we can use, demonstrate, deliver, and monetize General Information MicroTech is an award-winning Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and experienced provider of information technology and communications. Director of Pricing

• Under the direction of the COO, Director of Pricing will be capable of developing full cost/pricing models and drafting cost/price narratives for a wide range of federal government proposals (FFP, FFP LOE, T&M, and CPFF) • The Director must be able to perform price and cost build-ups, and to ensure pricing compliance • The Director will assist with the collection of subcontract pricing information and support price-to-win analysis with the company’s senior leaders • Manages the pricing function and is responsible for pricing for all proposals, change proposals, and task orders including but not limited to, fixed price, cost type, time and materials, and IDIQ contracts • Provides cost and pricing knowledge and expertise (cost analysis and price reasonableness) with FAR/DFARS requirements and other applicable government regulations • Reviews RFP/RFQs and proposal documents for protection of the company’s pricing, satisfaction of customer requirements and adherence to company policies • Ensures company-wide estimating system compliance and adherence to management pricing obligations • The Director will also generate reports to address specific needs in order to monitor the desired performance • Interface with accounting and operational systems to develop and maintain customized price reporting • Maintain custom databases, cost or pricing models, and/or interfaces generating desired reports for the CEO/COO and divisional leads

Senior GWAC Manager
