Role Description We are looking for a Blockchain Researcher to join a leading DeFi company. As Blockchain Researcher, your main responsibilities will be: - Staying up to date with industry trends to provide strategic insights and identify areas of improvement. - Identify and support additional initiatives to facilitate the growth of our ecosystem. - Investigate emerging technologies, innovations, and opportunities in the blockchain industry and conduct independent research to compile reports with unique insights. - Produce weekly market commentary and project updates for the department's ongoing projects. - Produce original valuation & modeling work to help further develop the products/projects in our ecosystem. - Coordinate and edit technical documentation. Qualifications - Fluent in Chinese (MUST). - Demonstrable experience working on a role relating to technical paper writing and research. - Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related field is preferred. - Deep knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchains. - Has published research, analyses, articles, or blogs on blockchain projects or protocols will be a huge plus. - Technical understanding of blockchain / smart contracts and their technical limitations is highly beneficial. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to discuss and explain technical concepts, solutions, and architectures. - Organized and self-sufficient. • Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and security review of Wormhole’s core Solana programs and to protocols expanding to Solana. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather customer requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into smart contract code. • Follow best practices for secure smart contract development and build future best practices alongside Wormhole security researchers. • Stay up to date with the latest in Solana tooling, best practices, and industry trends.

• Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and security review of products within the Wormhole ecosystem. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather customer requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into code. • Follow best practices for secure product development and build future best practices alongside Wormhole security researchers. • Stay up to date with the latest in smart contract tooling, AI development tools, best practices, and industry trends.

• Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and security review of Wormhole’s core Solidity contracts and to protocols expanding to EVM chains. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather customer requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into smart contract code. • Follow best practices for secure smart contract development and build future best practices alongside Wormhole security researchers. • Stay up to date with the latest in Ethereum/EVM tooling, best practices, and industry trends.
