Role Description Elastic, the Search AI company, is seeking a Renewals Manager (Individual Contributor) to oversee enterprise customer renewals and drive long-term retention and growth. This individual contributor role is a key part of our customer success organization, focused on ensuring timely renewals, identifying upsell opportunities, and reinforcing Elastic’s value with our largest customers. What You Will Be Doing - Manage a portfolio of enterprise customer accounts, engaging proactively a minimum of 180 days before renewal to secure continued partnerships. - Drive the complete renewal cycle — from forecasting and negotiation to closure — ensuring a seamless customer experience. - Identify and qualify expansion and upsell opportunities during renewal discussions, collaborating with account executives and customer success managers as needed. - Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and articulate the ongoing value of Elastic’s AI-powered search solutions. - Communicate renewal status, risk, and forecast updates with precision in Salesforce (SFDC) and other reporting tools. - Partner cross-functionally with sales, legal, operations, and customer success to streamline processes and resolve challenges swiftly. - Stay informed on new product capabilities to educate customers on the evolving Elastic value proposition. Qualifications - Proven success managing enterprise renewals or account portfolios in a SaaS subscription environment. - Deep understanding of renewal and retention processes, including forecasting, risk mitigation, and negotiation. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and executive audiences. - Ability to independently manage multiple renewal cycles and prioritize strategic engagements effectively. - Knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) and data management best practices. - A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to creating value and identifying growth opportunities. - Passion for technology, analytics, and open source solutions.
