ALTEN
• Planning, management and monitoring of packaging activities • Coordination of all interfaces between Production, Logistics, Procurement, Quality Control and Quality Assurance • Ensuring the timely availability of packaging materials • Active participation in the optimization of packaging processes and material flows • Execution of all packaging activities in compliance with GMP and GDP • Support during audits (internal and external) in the areas of Packaging and Supply Chain
Job Requirements
- Degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in packaging planning or operations within a GxP-regulated environment – ideally with a pharmaceutical service provider or manufacturer
- Knowledge of GMP and GDP requirements and a solid understanding of quality systems
- Proficient use of Excel and planning tools
- Strong analytical skills, proactive planning and enjoyment in structuring complex processes
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken

Role Description The Staff Engineer will travel to various PCA locations in the Western United States to support projects in paper mills and box plants.
