Role Description Provides analyst support for clinical information systems activities. Responsible for provision of application technical support and design for clinical information systems - ensuring creation of workflows and enhancements that support process improvement and change management initiatives. Contributes to overarching strategy to provide quality and cost-effective member care. - Serves as technical resource for all applications, including the development and support of clinical, practice management and operational workflows. - Provides strategic approach for workflow analysis, device integration, planning and implementation as it relates to clinical systems. - Participates in the planning, development, implementation, testing, training, and maintenance of the electronic medical record (EMR) application. - Assists in issue resolution and executes formal change management processes as needed for the business. This includes, but is not limited to, negotiations with CHP (Consortium Health Plans) and processing of CBF (Capitated Billing Format) payments, PAR requests, and plan prefix setup. • Communicates progress, risks, and issues to the Plan Configuration Manager. • Acts as Plan Configuration SME as a member of CPET, providing guidance and insights related to plan configuration capabilities and recommendations to allow the CPET team to make informed decisions. Provides CPET decision updates, prepares documentation, and related training to Plan Configuration team. • Participates in code categorization review and decisions related to new and existing diagnosis and procedure codes. • Participates in various department and company-wide projects as needed.

• Lead and direct a team of Health IT Informatics Analysts, establishing work plans • Serve as the primary technical authority for configuration of Federal EHRM (Oracle Health/MHS Genesis) and/or VistA/CPRS • Conduct detailed analysis of clinical workflow requirements, translating them into actionable EHR configuration specifications • Manage the VistA/CPRS to Federal EHR transition configuration activities • Develop and maintain configuration documentation • Participate in system testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing of EHR configuration changes • Coordinate with VA OIT, VHA clinical stakeholders, and Oracle Health implementation teams • Support training curriculum development and delivery related to EHR system configuration • Ensure all system configurations comply with applicable VA Directives, HL7 standards, ONC interoperability requirements, HIPAA security rule specifications, and VA Enterprise Architecture guidelines
