Senior Manager, Content Strategy
Smartsheet
• Develop a deep understanding of the buyer persona and pain points • Collaborate with Product Marketing teams to develop engaging campaign messaging across all global orchestrated campaigns, identify content gaps and develop the content roadmap • Develop and lead an Editorial Board and Marketing team-wide editorial strategy • Own the content planning and execution that maps to the buyer journey • Support thought leadership development with subject matter experts and executive leadership team • Be a player/coach to our team of writers and content producers to develop high-impact and compelling content assets • Heavily contribute to quarterly campaign planning and reporting • Heavily contribute to annual marketing strategy with an eye on the vision and MBOs • Execute on established KPIs to measure content program impact and utilize data to inform quarterly content plans. • Utilize strong analytical skills to test, track, and report out content performance results. • Propose innovative approaches to inspect content results and optimize campaign performance. • Synthesize and contribute content performance insights and suggestions for improvement to management. • Lead, mentor and grow a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. • Ignite a culture of inclusivity, recognizing the strengths that individuals bring to the team to promote engagement and development opportunities • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of content management and strategy experience, including SaaS B2B Marketing experience
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with demonstrated success creating compelling content that is tailored to goals and audiences
- Excellent communications and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and scale teams and processes within a dynamic growth environment
- Proven ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable managing multiple demands and meeting tight deadlines
- Experience working at a fast growing company.
