Senior Network Engineer

Nebius Group

• Ensure smooth and stable operation of data center infrastructure, points of presence, and our own backbone network. • Design and develop data center networks with thousands of server ports, InfiniBand-based GPU cluster interconnect networks, and automation and management tools for such networks. • Provide technical design, operations, duties and assistance to related cross-functional teams, including the internal R&D team, HWaaS, and all-around cloud overlay & underlay network environments. • Develop monitoring and automation tools. • Contribute to the launch of new regions within our cloud and GPU platforms.

Job Requirements

  • Expert-level (jncie/ccie) expertise in MPLS, routing and switching Service Provider and DataCenter networks, Ethernet switching/vxlan, routing (BGP/isis), SR mpls+v6, traffic balancing/ECMP, l3 mpls VPN, and cloud overlay network technologies.
  • Experience in developing and documenting a network design.
  • Experience in developing plans for testing network infrastructure and vendors.
  • Experience diagnosing problems with the TCP/IPv4/v6 protocol stack in a CLOS topology data center network.
  • Knowledge of the design and internal architecture of modern network equipment, QoS mechanisms, and operations.
  • Experience working with Juniper, Arista, Huawei, and Mellanox switches and routers.
  • Working proficiency in English.

We have openings for an Optical Network Installation Specialist that performs installation of networking equipment and components with an emphasis on optical hardware. The technician should be able to identify and resolve problems related to such systems with some supervision during routine upgrades and installation efforts. #compmod Responsibilities - Installation & Maintenance: Install, route, and secure fiber optic cabling, racks, ironwork (ladder rack, subfloor infrastructure), patch panels, and cable management hardware (i.e. Panduit raceway, Fiber Management Systems (FMS)) in accordance with TIA/EIA and DoW standards. - Cabling, Splicing & Termination: Perform fusion splicing, connector termination, and cable preparation for singlemode, multimode fiber systems, and copper cabling . - Power & Grounding: DC Power cable (determining path, wax cord lacing), HTAP, and equipment. - Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct, document, and analyze results from OTDR, power meter, and continuity tests to diagnose and repair fiber issues. - Security & Compliance: Adhere to security level access, material handling, and protocols. - Documentation: Interpret SOWs, site drawings, and infrastructure diagrams to maintain accurate records of network routes. Required Experience/Qualifications - One year to three years of experience involving the construction, maintenance, or repair of various types of networking or electronics equipment or an equivalent combination of education from a related technical discipline for the required experience. - Proficiency in BICSI standards, fiber optic splicing, and testing equipment. - Basic knowledge of communications installations. - Some experience with various network devices (e.g. IP routers, optical/IP switches) and ability to install network devices per - DoW and Industry Implementation Standards. - Communications skills including verbal, written, and graphic and experience with customer service environments - Proficiency with MS Office applications/Google documents/sheets/slides for reporting.
