Mechanical Engineer Intern

Flock Safety

• Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering environment. • Support the design, analysis, testing, and development of mechanical systems and components. • Assist with CAD-based design. • Perform engineering analyses such as stress and thermal calculations. • Support prototype fabrication and assembly. • Participate in testing and evaluation of new and existing designs. • Exposure to the full mechanical development lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and concepts.
  • Experience in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with 3D printers and basic machine shop tools
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
