• Define and lead the end-to-end design strategy for Humana’s member renewal experience, ensuring a human-centered approach that aligns with business goals • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to simplify and enhance the renewal process • Champion user research and data-driven insights to inform design decisions and measure impact • Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and best practices in design across all renewal touchpoints • Partner with the Plan Shopping team to ensure seamless and consistent user experience across the member journey • Present design concepts and strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders, effectively communicating rationale and value • Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the design team

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing impactful digital solutions
  • 3 years of coaching and mentoring designers on the team
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience designing complex user journeys, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or related industries
  • Deep expertise in user-centered design processes, interaction design, visual design, and service design
  • Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe CC)
  • Familiarity with user research methodologies and translating insights into actionable design solutions
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on making and design mentorship
  • Strong business acumen, with demonstrated ability to connect design deliverables to measurable business outcomes, such as improved conversion rates, customer satisfaction, or lower operational cost.

Compensation and Benefits This role will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and equity. The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas.
