• The Audit Manager is responsible for coordinating audit teams on the field work • Writing the audit reports and maintaining the relationship with the customers • Developing audit business for all service lines of Mazars • Demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach, initiative and pro-active thinking • Performing independent work, coordinating team members • Maintaining communication with colleagues and with clients’ representatives • Preparing or validating documents to be delivered to customers • Planning audit engagements and identifying potential risk areas • Coordinating the audit teams in technical matters • Obtaining customers’ assessment of the audit team’s performance • Reviewing working papers prepared by the team for high-risk areas • Ensuring observance of professional quality standards • Connecting with engagement partners to mitigate risks • Identifying requirements of current or potential customers and preparing proposals • Establishing close working relationships with customers during audit missions • Evaluating the professional performance of team members

Job Requirements

  • 5-8 years working experience in financial audit
  • Good analytic and numeric skills
  • Good planning and coordination abilities
  • Business oriented
  • Computer skills (MS Office)
  • Team player
  • Willing to continuously improve their knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills in Romanian and English (French/ German are an advantage)
  • Entrepreneurial approach
  • Previous exposure to financial services industry (insurance, banking, etc.) would also be seen as a plus
  • Holding a professional qualification in the accounting field would also represent an advantage
