VP, Cardiology
Clario
• Represent Clario as a senior scientific expert, providing Cardiac Safety consulting services to pharmaceutical sponsors, including protocol design, statistical analysis, expert report authorship, and regulatory support. • Serve as a key interface with internal departments and executive leadership on cardiology‑related strategy, cardiac safety operations, and scientific direction. • Lead and participate in client discussions for prospective and ongoing engagements requiring Cardiac Safety or cardiac efficacy strategies across therapeutic areas. • Support the VP and Chief Medical Officer, Cardiology in developing, maintaining, and governing Cardiology policies, procedures, SOPs, and review guidelines. • Stay current with advances in cardiac safety and efficacy science, proactively educating internal stakeholders on emerging trends and best practices. • Provide oversight and expert support for ECG, Holter, and patch data interpretation, including quality assurance and quality control activities. • Partner with Sales to support client retention, business development activities, and scientific pre‑sales engagements. • Collaborate with Product and Development teams on the development and validation of EXPeRT and other Clario systems. • Represent Clario in meetings and research collaborations with global regulatory authorities. • Provide leadership and oversight of the Biostatistics group, driving statistical innovation, supporting sponsor interactions, and contributing strategically across Clario’s lines of business to maximize enterprise value.
Job Requirements
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases
- Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology training (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in or consulting for the pharmaceutical industry
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cardiac Safety and drug development
- 10+ years of clinical cardiology and electrocardiography experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience working directly with pharmaceutical sponsors
- Proven leadership capability in cross‑functional, matrixed environments
- High ethical standards and a strong commitment to representing Clario with scientific integrity and professionalism
