Mobile Service Technician
Newport Beach Automotive Group
• Perform routine maintenance and light repair services on Ford and competitive make vehicles (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, recalls, and software updates) at customer locations • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using mobile diagnostic tools • Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle condition, recommended services, and timelines • Manage daily schedule, travel routes, and service appointments efficiently • Maintain and organize a fully equipped mobile service vehicle • Accurately document services performed, parts used, and customer interactions via digital systems • Follow all safety protocols and company standards
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (ASE certification preferred)
- 2+ years of automotive technician experience (Ford experience a plus)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile apps, and diagnostic software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with mobile or field service operations
- Familiarity with Ford systems, tools, and service procedures
- EV (Electric Vehicle) maintenance knowledge is a plus
