GCP Engineer

• Seeking GCP Engineer to play a key role in designing, migrating and scaling a modern data Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, ensuring security. • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform across multiple environments (production, staging, sandbox, and customer deployments). • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and data products within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to transform data from a variety of sources. • Partners with key roles (e.g. project managers, business analysts, etc.) to create well-defined solutions that are aligned to the IT Strategy and leverages common solutions and services, to meet key project goals. • Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data and application issues, providing post-implementation and rotational on-call support to ensure business continuity.
Job Requirements
- Understanding of state management, secrets handling, and cloud security
- 7-9 years of expertise in these areas
- Expertise with networking, IAM, logging, and monitoring in Google Cloud Platform
- Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability in distributed cloud systems, including metrics, logs, tracing, and latency analysis
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.

Work Flexibility: Remote What you will do The Staff Supplier Quality Engineer serves as a liaison between suppliers and Stryker to drive effective continuous improvement to the supply base.
