To achieve this, we are looking to hire software developers that are passionate about developing simple solutions for complex problems. Successful candidates will work with our team in a full-stack position. Our tech stack is primarily Ruby on Rails using PostgreSQL, all hosted on Heroku. ABOUT THE ROLE Software engineers at carwow work on cross-functional product teams of product managers, engineers, designers and data analysts. You will work closely with a Product Manager and a Tech Lead on deciding what features to build for customers, break down and build features with the team, review code, mentor engineers, ensure operational excellence, and share knowledge broadly across the engineering organisation. • Performing UI and UX tests according to design and sample applications. • Performing manual tests of mobile applications to identify defects and ensure product reliability. • Performing functional tests. • Writing test scenarios. • Performing pre-production and post-production tests of the tasks. • Contributing the improvement of the Quality-Assurance processes. • Collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolution of bugs and issues. • Identifying areas for improvement in the testing process and contributing to the implementation of best practices.

• Define and champion the overall long-term testing strategy and quality roadmap for Games Platform • Drive design and implementation of test infrastructure, automation tests and the tools needed to support automation • Debug issues with a variety of tools and identify root causes by closely partnering with several internal teams that contribute to the E2E flow of the product • Improve release predictability and confidence by optimizing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines • Manually test new features and integration points that are difficult to automate and collaborate with manual QA vendors to execute exploratory tests • Gather and analyze operational data to gain insights on how to improve test stability, performance, and developer engagement

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test strategies for AI products • Test and validate AI-powered features (including OpenAI, Claude, and other AI integrations) • Evaluate and improve RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) flows, ensuring accuracy and performance • Leverage AI automation tools to optimize test coverage and efficiency • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and AI researchers to ensure high-quality releases • Own tasks end-to-end, working independently to deliver on commitments. • Mentor and guide junior SDETs, fostering a culture of quality and continuous learning
