• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test strategies for AI products • Test and validate AI-powered features (including OpenAI, Claude, and other AI integrations) • Evaluate and improve RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) flows, ensuring accuracy and performance • Leverage AI automation tools to optimize test coverage and efficiency • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and AI researchers to ensure high-quality releases • Own tasks end-to-end, working independently to deliver on commitments. • Mentor and guide junior SDETs, fostering a culture of quality and continuous learning

• Implement performance, scalability, and reliability testing strategies • Capture and analyze key performance metrics to identify bottlenecks • Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance • Review application architecture and suggest improvements to enhance scalability • Leverage AI at appropriate layers to improve efficiency and drive positive business outcomes • Drive performance testing initiatives across the organization and ensure seamless execution • Automate the capturing of performance metrics and generate performance trend reports • Research, evaluate, and conduct PoCs for new tools and solutions • Collaborate with developers and architects to enhance frontend and API performance • Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues using logs and monitoring tools • Ensure high availability and reliability of applications and services

• Own and evolve the test automation platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and ease of use • Design and maintain robust automation frameworks across UI, API, and backend layers • Build and enhance internal QA tools that improve test efficiency • Drive adoption of automation best practices, coding standards, and efficient test design • Implement and maintain test observability systems for reporting, analytics, and defect insights • Conduct performance, load, and scalability testing for key features and services • Develop and maintain test infrastructure, supporting containerized and distributed environments • Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the delivery pipeline • Improve test reliability and flakiness detection through intelligent retry and failure analysis systems • Contribute to continuous improvement of tooling, test data management, and CI/CD quality gates • Research and implement emerging technologies (AI/ML, LLMs, smart test generation, etc.) to advance test automation capabilities • Advocate for shift-left quality, influencing design and architecture discussions for better testability • Maintain clear documentation and onboarding materials for test frameworks and platform usage

• Take part in testing activities in the Scrum Team and assist in the successful execution of testing strategies. • Develop and promote testing knowledge within an Agile team and provide needed help in enabling developers to test. • Share experience on a variety of testing tools relevant to the business environment and drive experimentation towards improvements. • Define and maintain metrics and promote testing awareness within Engineering. • Promote a shift-left approach in testing across Engineering. • Drive Test Data definition and develop scalable frameworks and tools to solve problems. • Review requirement specifications and user stories to provide timely and meaningful feedback. • Design, development and execution of automation scripts and Test Automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, etc.). • Work on the continuous integration of scripts (Jenkins) and drive the team towards continuous testing. • Identify, document and track issues. • Work closely with Software/Test Engineers and Product Managers to understand context and drive automation and testing to meet objectives. • Take part in exploratory testing and test design sessions to help in improving overall product quality. • Acquire a deep understanding of the domain and approach testing holistically, ensuring comprehensive coverage. • Have a critical mindset to discern what to automate and what not to, strategically sampling critical tests focusing on balancing risk, cost, and value. • Coach developers and other SDETs.
