Contract Manager
DCS - Designed Conveyor Systems
• Partner with internal subject matter experts and legal counsel to support contract negotiations • Prepare, review, and analyze proposals, agreements, amendments, and addendums • Manage contracts through the full lifecycle from initiation to execution and close out • Identify potential contractual risks and work with stakeholders to address liabilities • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain strong relationships • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies • Support internal governance by ensuring contract management processes are followed • Communicate contract requirements, terms, and status updates to stakeholders • Coordinate with the Program Management Office on related systems and reporting
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working directly with contracts in a similar role, ideally within material handling, construction, engineering, or a related industry
- Strong understanding of contract terminology, contract law fundamentals, and contract management best practices
- Confident communicator who can navigate discussions with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple agreements/contracts at once
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contract management, business law, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with a collaborative, customer focused approach
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Office and can quickly adapt to new systems and tools
