Job Description

Project Manager – Materials Engineering

Groupe ABS

• Responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects, from planning through invoicing • Ensure scheduling of work and monitoring of ongoing projects (timeline and budget) • Coordinate project execution across construction sites • Supervise the quality of work performed by field technicians • Validate and compile test results conducted on-site and in the laboratory • Review compliance certificates the contractor plans to use to verify conformity with plans and specifications • Draft and approve technical reports • Inform clients and your supervisor about project progress and maintain excellent customer service • Track project budgets allocated per project • Attend project meetings (via Microsoft TEAMS or in person).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years as a fully licensed engineer (OIQ)
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Relevant experience in on-site materials quality control is an asset
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
  • ASP Construction card
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
