• Own feature delivery from concept to production for the Sub-Accounts platform — design APIs, implement backend logic, and build clean, responsive frontend experiences (any modern UI framework; Vue.js experience is a big plus). • Build and evolve highly scalable, performant microservices using Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and event-driven patterns running on Kubernetes and GCP. • Proactively hunt down and fix systemic issues (race conditions, deadlocks, memory leaks, timeouts, data inconsistencies) across the sub-accounts hierarchy and permissions system. • Drive performance and cost optimizations — query tuning, intelligent caching, indexing strategies, and GCP cost reduction without sacrificing speed or reliability. • Ruthlessly reduce technical debt through refactoring, improving test coverage, and eliminating anti-patterns in both backend and frontend code. • Strengthen security at every layer — RBAC/ABAC enforcement, tenant isolation, audit trails, rate limiting, secrets management, and input validation. • Improve observability across the stack — meaningful logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and alerts that make incidents easy to debug in real time. • Work hand-in-hand with QA from day one: review test cases, give live demos during QA handover, and resolve feedback quickly. • Build internal tools, scripts, and automation that accelerate development, testing, and deployment cycles for the entire team. • Actively pair with teammates, share knowledge, conduct code reviews, and help unblock others. • Participate in on-call rotation and own incident resolution for the sub-accounts services you build. • This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you’ll write production code daily, ship complete features fast, and directly shape how thousands of agencies and resellers experience our platform. • If you love end-to-end ownership and want to make multi-account management feel effortless and bulletproof — this is your role.

• Improve performance and reduce latency: • Come up with architectural planning for implementing new features around custom objects • Diagnose and remove bottlenecks in backend services, APIs, and message flows • Profile Node.js services (CPU, heap, event loop) and rewrite hot paths for efficiency • Strengthen platform reliability: • Improve resilience via batching, caching, pooling, concurrency controls, and backpressure • Harden services against cascading failures and dependency slowness • Establish rate-limiting, queueing, and circuit-breaker patterns that scale under load • Optimize database queries, indexing strategies, denormalization, and read/write paths • Collaborate on infrastructure & operations: • Work with SRE and Infra teams on autoscaling, capacity planning, quotas, and workload efficiency • Contribute to runtime configuration improvements (GKE, Node.js, Redis, Pub/Sub, Firestore, ClickHouse) • Participate in performance incident reviews and drive actionable root-cause fixes • Build long-lasting performance frameworks: • Define best practices for high-performance microservices, distributed patterns, and observability • Create reusable performance tooling, dashboards, and profiling workflows • Mentor engineers on writing scalable code, interpreting metrics, and designing reliable services

• Drive **developer experience and system health metrics** across Courses vertical and ensure compliance to latest standards across the organization. • Drive measurable improvements in developer productivity, system reliability, observability, and deployment speed. • **Drive development and maintain reusable UI components**, aligning with Highlevel’s design system to ensure consistency across web and mobile applications. • **Enhance load times, ensure smooth interactions, and improve rendering efficiency** by minimising bottlenecks, leveraging techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies to support 700,000+ users. • Guide frontend engineers by sharing best practices in performance tuning, UI development, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js), fostering a culture of technical excellence. • Identify and resolve UI/UX bottlenecks, accessibility gaps, security vulnerabilities, and frontend technical debt to deliver a polished user experience. • Contribute to the **design and development of backend APIs** to support frontend functionality, ensuring efficient data flow and integration with application features. • Gain deep insights into the product, customer needs, and competitors to enhance user experience and align features with creator and learner expectations. • Partner with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, cohesive user experiences across web and mobile platforms. • Keep up with the latest frontend technologies (e.g., WebAssembly, modern JavaScript frameworks) and advocate for tech stack improvements to enhance performance and developer productivity. • Utilize AI-driven tools and frameworks to enhance frontend experiences, such as personalizing user interfaces, optimizing content delivery, or automating UI testing and performance analysis.
