• Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations across key areas including Prepaid Expenses, Fixed Assets, Travel and Entertainment, and Accrued Liabilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. • Prepare monthly fluctuation analyses by vendor and general ledger account to identify business trends and ensure the accuracy of vendor accruals and accounts payable coding. • Support internal financial reporting across revenue, operating expenses, taxes, travel and entertainment expenses, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, payroll and related benefits, and allocations. • Review and submit the Company's monthly sales-tax filings in compliance with state regulations. • Support the implementation of and adherence to internal controls and accounting policies; recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and regulatory compliance. • Build effective relationships and work cross-functionally across the organization to gather financial information and ensure accurate reporting. • Support the annual audit process by coordinating audit requests and preparing necessary documentation. • Assist in maintaining the Company's Global Tax Calendar to ensure timely filing of Sales, Property, Income, Franchise, and other indirect tax types. • Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with team members to build scalable and transformational processes and support new business initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; progress toward CPA licensure a plus.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment.
- Solid understanding of GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Workday Financials, Sage Intacct) and Excel.
- Experience building and improving accounting processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis
