Provides leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design tasks required from the development of an enterprise infrastructure architecture. Partners with security architects and assists with designing the governance activities associated with ensuring enterprise infrastructure architecture compliance. Job Description As a member of the Enterprise Architecture Center of Excellence, responsible for capturing the transformation opportunities available to the enterprise through adoption of new technology. Drive business capabilities and respond to information systems requirements at the same time. Develop the target technology architecture that enables the architecture vision, target business, data, and application building blocks to be delivered through technology and infrastructure components and services, in a way that addresses the statement of architecture work and stakeholder concerns. Act as a trusted advisor and work with stakeholders to define and create roadmaps. Responsible for defining a taxonomy of technology services and logical technology components. Identify locations where technology is deployed and carry out an abstracted physical inventory of deployed technology. Oversee and facilitate the research, evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as design of standard configurations. A hands-on-technologist experience in architecture and engineering modern infrastructure platform and services. Determine configuration of selected technology, impact sizing, costing, capacity planning, migration, and governance. Responsible for technology fit-for-purpose assessment and recommending iterative paths towards the adoption of strategic architecture goals. Define high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and target state, typically in sync with IT budgeting or other capital planning processes. Proactively monitor strategic direction of vendors, technology, and market trends, and determine their potential impact and value to the enterprise. A practical understanding and deep work experience of a hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure environment, including but not limited to operating systems, servers, storage, networking, public cloud providers (AWS, Azure). Advanced knowledge on OSI (Linux / Windows), Web & Application Servers (Apache / IIS / Tomcat), Databases (MSSQL), Monitoring (Prometheus, Open Metrics), Cloud technologies, Networking, and Automation frameworks (Ansible, Puppet, SCCM, Terraform). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field required. Master’s degree is preferred. Expert level experience leveraging industry best practices in Configuration Management, Secure from the start automation-first of all infrastructure components, iterative delivery of strategic architecture design, deep understanding of operating systems web, middleware, and networking. Role Description The Principal Product Architect will play a pivotal role in leading the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and highly available SaaS products, with an emphasis on public cloud design and deployment. This is a senior-level position requiring deep expertise in cloud technologies, SaaS models, and a proven track record of successful SaaS product deployment. - Responsible for defining the architectural vision, ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of products. - Partners with product management to ensure product roadmaps and release planning align with the defined technology strategy. - Guides product engineering teams in architecturally sound product design for public cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments. - Maintains a product technology roadmap to achieve target state product alignment. - Focuses on technology assessments, proofs-of-concept, living architectural artifacts, and ensuring product design compliance. - Provides thought leadership and collaborates with product leadership to reconceive existing products to cloud-native designs. - Engages with product engineering, technical architecture, security, and operations to ensure compliance with reference product models. - Brings a blend of commercial SaaS product design, technical expertise, and cross-functional acumen. - Translates complex requirements into actionable plans while promoting innovation, collaboration, and operational efficiency. Requirements - 10 years experience in application or solution architecture. - 8 years experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, and cloud-native application design. - 5 years proven track record of designing, deploying, and managing large-scale serverless SaaS solutions on public cloud, preferably AWS. - 5 years experience with modern development practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevOps. Preferred Experience - 5 years experience as an architect in a commercial SaaS environment. - 5 years experience operating within an architecture governance framework. Required Training, Certification and Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience. - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or equivalent advanced certifications). Preferred Training, Certification and Education - Master’s degree. - Other relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, Cloud Security) are a plus. • Support Cyber Security Analysts and Architects in the ongoing development of CSOC services • Actively participate in coordinating tasks within program management and focus groups • Analyze existing processes and develop proposals to optimize internal security processes • Serve as the central contact for internal service optimizations related to SOC topics and support the team and customers with current developments and projects
