Labcorp is seeking a remote-based Software Development Engineer for our team in Bengaluru city, Karnataka state. Job Responsibilities - Lead and contribute to full‑stack development using modern Agile methodologies. - Develop intuitive applications in collaboration with developers, project managers, analysts, UX designers, QA, and business users. - Design, build, and maintain RESTful microservices using Java, Spring, and cloud‑native patterns. - Develop advanced single‑page applications using Angular or React. - Deliver prototypes, reusable UI components, and maintainable automation solutions. - Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, API Gateway, SQS, and DynamoDB - Incorporate test-driven development practices and integrate automated QA into development workflows. - Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. - Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and improve performance. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. - Take ownership of assigned modules and deliver features from concept to production. - Contribute to architectural discussions and engineering process improvements. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science Preferred Qualifications - Experience developing container‑based and serverless applications. - Experience with messaging services like SQS, Kafka, IBM MQ, or ActiveMQ - Experience with Terraform and Elasticache (Opensearch, Redis, Valkey etc) - Experience building large‑scale, high‑availability applications. Additional Job standards - 6+ years of software development experience in Java or another object‑oriented language. (or) 6+ years of experience developing single‑page applications with Angular or React. - 3+ years of experience building applications using AWS services (Lambda, ECS, IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB). - Strong experience with Spring and RESTful API development. - Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them to active projects. - Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and follow‑through skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile teams. • Code new WordPress themes, page templates, and plugins from scratch and modify existing themes and plugins • Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules including dynamic content and personalization features • Integrate wide range of WordPress plugins, API calls and third party apps and forms, such as Eloqua • Manage back-end services and interchange of data between server and user, including server-side logic and database integration • Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from front-end • Provide front-end development of digital marketing communications, including full websites and micro-sites, landing pages, emails, and other initiatives • Develop, test and troubleshoot across multiple browsers, platforms and devices, including tablets and smartphones, to support a consistent and positive customer experience • Provide guidance on SEO best practices for site development • Research and recommend new technologies and tools for effective integration across various platforms
