Accounting Associate – Payroll Experience
Resolve
• Manage the automatic or manual syncing of transactional data into Quickbooks Online. • Verify that all transactions downloaded into Quickbooks Online are accurately coded. • Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis. • Ensure all Accounts Payable are accurately coded in the AP software and syncing to Quickbooks Online. • Assist in preparation of customer invoices. • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, manage adjusting journal entries, and maintain supporting workpapers. • Process timely and accurate payroll using third-party payroll software. • Manage the reporting and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual sales tax filings. • Identify & implement opportunities to maximize workflow efficiency.
Job Requirements
- 5 Years experience doing bookkeeping/accounting for an entrepreneurial organization.
- Mastery of Quickbooks desktop, Quickbooks Online, and Xero.
- Experience working with technology solutions such as Shopify, Quickbooks Online, Bill.com, Melio, Abacus, Expensify, Fathom, Syft, LivePlan, Gusto, Rippling, Avalara and others.
- Experience working directly with business owners, principals, and executive staff.
- Proactive Communicator.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
