• Proactively ensure the design and development meet client expectations, filling in gaps as needed to ensure the quality of the build. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional design and development teams to execute on builds, maintain alignment, and ensure cohesive project execution. • Lead project planning and management, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and met. • Manage the launch process, coordinating with clients for DNS transfers and ensuring a smooth transition to live environments. • Provide training and support on Webflow CMS to clients, ensuring they are empowered to manage their platforms effectively. • Stay abreast of the latest digital trends and technologies, continually enhancing our offerings and driving innovation within the agency. • Conduct thorough QA testing, identifying and resolving issues to maintain the highest quality standards. • Write test cases for tracking defects and fixes. • Test and certify functionality of various websites. • Test websites across various browsers and mobile devices. • Log defects and track them proactively and follow them through to closure.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Webflow, including its development capabilities and best practices.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing digital projects from initiation to completion.
  • Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and digital marketing strategies, including technical aspects like 301 redirects.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.

Primary Objectives of Position: - The Designer’s focus is to keep DCI on the cutting edge of design making DCI the most creative DMC and building upon its industry reputation for outstanding design. - The position is responsible for creating and producing event design for the company. Major Areas of Accountability: - Creatively design, price and create décor-related proposals. - Continuously be on the cutting edge of design, incorporating fresh and new ideas into proposals. - Responsible for the creation of, redesign, revisions or additions of events/proposals considering all design aspects. - Collaborate with team members to offer expertise in design and creativity. Key elements of Designer understanding and knowledge: - Décor including linens, florals, chairs, lounge furniture, etc. - Lighting. - Big picture: ensuring the event is cohesive as it relates to the overall program & budget. - Ability to diagram event layouts. - Production elements, entertainment, staging, etc. - Redirect clients with creative solutions for lower cost alternatives when necessary. - Continuously looking for ways to increase revenue, upselling when possible. - Complete working knowledge of strategic design partner inventory items. - Profitability: must understand and manage profitability of the décor aspect of the program. - Pre-site any venues or hotels as needed for décor-driven events. - On Site Designer at client presentations with Account Executive when requested/needed. - Coordinate and execute décor site setups as needed/requested by Account Executives. - On Site Designer at events to assist the Account Manager when needed/requested. Vendor Partnerships: - Establish new and maintain great partnerships/relationships with all vendors. - Actively seek out new vendors and discuss with current partners new, creative, cutting-edge products. - Obtain décor vendor pricing for various locations as needed. - Negotiate best prices/inclusions to keep offerings fresh and different from competitors. - Maintain and currently update costing for décor-related vendors in all cities we service. - Obtain volume discounts with décor-related vendors when possible. - Create and maintain Style Sheet Library including themed style sheets and new theme ideas. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in related field such as the DMC or event planning industries. - 2+ years related experience in DMC, hotels, event planning or within related creative industry. - Creative thinker, with an innate creative thought process. - Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills. - Effective time management. - Works well under pressure and meets all deadlines. - Must be able to effectively multitask, have very strong interpersonal and organizational skills. - Ability to interface effectively with personnel critical to ensure the efficient development of a proposal. - Ability to prioritize workload. - Flexibility and teamwork a must. - Motivated and forward thinking. - Ability to cultivate relationships with various levels of employees, vendors and clients.
