Frontend Engineer

• Build innovative solutions that address the overall design, site navigation, and layout of content for various geographic audiences • Code visually appealing and dynamic UIs for our browser-based and mobile front-ends • Create Unit Tests and document your code • Contribute or develop your SCRUM skills • Participate in any other activities as needed! Job Requirements
- A relevant university or college degree
- 5+ year of experience in: CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, jquery
- Experience with PHP, Responsive Design, AJAX, CSS Templating/Modularity
- Nice to have: CoffeeScript, Angular.js, Node/Npm, JSON/REST, SQL knowledge (MySQL), Linux
- UI/UX experience with a focus on web designs and/or mobile applications
- Knowledge of web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability
- An understanding of the principles behind personas, user experience, web navigation, user habits, current design trends, cross-browser and platform compatibility issues
- Bonus points for knowledge of a visual design tool: Photoshop, GIMP, Inkscape, InDesign or Illustrator, FontForge
