Product Lead – Connectivity

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of our connectivity products, from initial discovery and requirements gathering through to successful launch and continuous iteration. • By deeply understanding market needs and the competitive landscape, you will define and champion the product strategy and roadmap. • You identify and understand our customers' use cases, and proactively derive the required measures. • You ensure the product's ongoing success and alignment with gridX's overarching business objectives. • You closely lead and develop a team of 2-3 product people through personalized coaching and mentorship, leveraging your deep product expertise to help them excel in complex product lifecycles and achieve ambitious goals, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the product domain. • You champion a results-oriented product culture by establishing a clear vision for our product connectivity topics, holding the team accountable for delivering value and actively guiding them towards successful outcomes, effectively collaborating across a 20-person cross-functional team (including Engineering, Marketing, Design, Sales). • For your core team, you communicate transparent goals and metrics to drive product excellence and quantify its impact. • Collaborate with our growth team to define and achieve the certification of (at least 10) new OEM partners within a 12-month timeframe, contributing to the expansion and strengthening of our product ecosystem. • You take ownership of delivering key product integrations, further strengthening our product's capabilities. • You take full ownership of the budget for all connectivity initiatives, driving efficient resource allocation, ensuring financial accountability and alignment with overall business objectives. • Define and track success metrics (e.g. integration uptime, time‑to‑market, partner satisfaction) and use data to make and inform roadmap decisions.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on expertise in the world of DER integration or SaaS/IoT energy management – even better if you've navigated both
- You are a product pro and know your way around product management like the back of your hand, from crafting a compelling roadmap to nailing down requirements and keeping the priorities clear
- You are a champion at leading teams in cross-functional settings, developing people and are a natural at getting everyone on the same page
- You have experience running and growing OEM partnership programs, ideally in both Europe and Asia
- You have experience working with OEMs and have a network within that space
- You are comfortable leading hybrid and cross-functional teams
- You are no stranger to budget and P&L responsibilities
- You have successfully launched cloud-to-cloud integrations from initial concept to production
- Your English is excellent and you are great at connecting with and managing different stakeholders. German is a plus
