The Team: Upstart’s Capital Markets team plays a pivotal role in securing loan funding capital for our AI lending marketplace. We collaborate with leading institutional investors across a diverse range of financing and funding solutions, including securitizations, whole loan sales, co-investment partnerships and other structured transactions. Within Capital Markets, the Structured Products team oversees Upstart’s securitization, pass thru, and financing programs. Upstart has been an active issuer in the asset-backed securities (“ABS”) markets since 2017 with over $9 billion in aggregate issuance to date. The team is the primary point of contact with major investment banks and other lenders / investors on Upstart’s capital markets offerings, while ensuring alignment across the business. As the Capital Markets Manager - Structured Products at Upstart, you will play a critical role in securing funding sources and structures by driving optimized execution on Upstart’s securitization and warehouse programs. You have a strong track record within structured finance and are energized by building relationships across Capital Markets participants. You will leverage your technical expertise to review asset- and bond-level cashflow modeling to support structuring discussions and lead negotiations across our Structured Products offerings. How you’ll make an impact - Drive and execute strategy for Upstart’s securitization issuance and asset-backed financing strategy - Manage and deepen strategic partnerships with lenders, investors, and key market participants - Partner closely with internal and external counsel to review and execute legal agreements - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., legal, operations, data analytics, accounting) to navigate downstream implications of Upstart’s funding structures - Present on deal terms and status to leadership including Upstart’s management team - Coach and mentor junior team members Minimum Qualifications - 7+ years of relevant experience in Capital Markets, Structured Finance/Products, investment banking, or related roles - Deep knowledge of capital markets and fixed income, with hands-on experience modeling and executing a broad range of structured finance transactions - Proven track record of strong cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing partners to drive outcomes - Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring a high-performing team that consistently punches above their weight - Strong market instincts with a sharp read on risk sentiment / appetite and trusted by institutional clients Preferred Qualifications - Direct experience in capital markets at a fintech - Deep knowledge of unsecured personal loan asset class - MBA, CFA, or BA/BS degree in business, finance, economics, or other analytical areas of study - Skilled in deriving insights from complex data sets using Looker or similar software; knowledge of SQL a plus - ABS or Asset Backed Securities Position location: Local team members typically meet in person in the New York, NY or San Mateo, CA office once to three times weekly and work from home the rest of the time. The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within the below range. Your actual base pay will depend on your geographic location–with our “digital first” philosophy, Upstart uses compensation regions that vary depending on location. • Develop, manage and strengthen institutional relationships with State Health Departments, strategic municipal health managers and other decision-makers within the public health system. • Identify, map and analyze access opportunities, demands and needs related to Biomm’s portfolio, taking into account the regional context of Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS). • Act as a strategic liaison between Biomm and state technical teams, commissions, working groups and other regional stakeholders, ensuring institutional alignment and consistency of messaging. • Plan, execute and monitor regional work plans focused on access, expansion, sustainability and continuity of therapies within the territory. • Organize, plan and lead institutional meetings, technical agendas and strategic presentations related to the company’s portfolio. • Monitor the regional regulatory and institutional environment, anticipating risks and opportunities that could impact access to the company’s products. • Work in an integrated manner with internal areas (Commercial, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain and Finance), ensuring strategic alignment and efficient execution of access initiatives. • Periodically report results, progress, risks and opportunities to leadership, contributing to Biomm’s public access strategic planning.

• Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) and expanded clinical programs in accordance with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) • Develop appropriate clinical algorithms, pathways, and call scripts to support pharmacy staff in delivering MTM services • Review and update all algorithms and call scripts at least yearly and with updated clinical guidelines • Develop documentation standards for all clinical outreaches • Assist CEC leadership to develop program to support STAR ratings outreach • Facilitate communication and education to clients, providers, and internal staff regarding MTM programs and program outcomes • Provide clinical outreach to members, prescribers, and pharmacy providers to enhance care coordination • Provide Medicare Part D clinical, operational, and educational support by maintaining knowledge of all existing updates and regulations regarding the MTM program and Medicare Part C and D performance measures (STAR ratings) • Stay current with new guidelines, literature, recommendations, and medications, and integrate that information into the MTM and STARs programs, such that our clinical outreaches remain up to date • Other duties as assigned
