Workday Finance System Manager – remote within the EU
AVIAREPS Group
• Own and stabilise the recently deployed Workday Financials Core for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Sweden • Manage and resolve post‑go‑live defects, data issues, reporting gaps, and design corrections • Build and maintain Workday Custom Reports, Matrix Reports, Dashboards, and RAAS outputs to support Finance and Accounting operations • Support end users with guidance, training, and issue resolution • Collaborate closely with Workday support partners (implementation & AMS) to track, escalate, and resolve complex issues • Oversee integrations including banking, payment files, RAAS APIs, SFTP flows, and Kyriba‑related data exchanges • Maintain strong governance, documentation, and version control for all system changes • Lead Workday Financials Core rollouts for additional countries in partnership with our implementation partner • Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax, payment, and regulatory requirements • Improve and optimise existing configuration, validations, accounting rules, and controls • Enhance the end‑to‑end financial process landscape using Workday best practices • Independently drive rollout of Workday Financials to remaining countries • Provide ongoing support for the system and its users globally • Continuously improve reporting, data quality, accounting automation, and system performance • Act as the internal Workday Financials subject matter expert and primary point of contact.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, or a related field; advanced qualification (e.g., MBA, Workday certification) a plus
- Hands-on experience implementing, administering, or supporting Workday Financials across multiple countries
- Strong experience in Workday Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, RAAS)
- Good understanding of Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Custom XSLT, API/RAAS)
- Solid knowledge of Financial Accounting, Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, Banking, Assets, and Period Close processes
- Proven project management skills and comfort leading cross‑functional implementations
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, global environment
- Experience in travel, tourism, or multi‑entity/multi‑currency businesses is an advantage.
