Technical Sales Engineer
Pivot + Edge
• Proactively engage and follow up with warm leads from marketing events, website inquiries, vendor partners, and trade shows. • Position and promote Macnica’s portfolio of image sensors, semiconductors, SoMs, SBCs, display solutions, engineering services, and more. • Qualify customer opportunities through thoughtful discovery and probing techniques. • Identify customer challenges and recommend tailored sensor-to-solution offerings that include components, design support, and integrated products. • Build strong technical and business relationships with prospective customers in key verticals. • Manage a defined geographic territory, contributing to pipeline growth and revenue goals. • Support and augment Field Sales Representatives by stepping into FAE (Field Applications Engineer) roles as needed to ensure comprehensive technical coverage. • Collaborate with internal teams including Field Application Engineers, Solutions Architects, and Product Management to drive opportunities from discovery to close. • Maintain detailed customer engagement and opportunity records within Microsoft Dynamics CRM. • Represent Macnica Americas at key events, trade shows, and customer visits (10–25% travel).
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a technical sales, applications engineering, or business development role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Strong technical background in image sensor technology and a solid understanding of embedded systems or electronics.
- Demonstrated experience positioning complex technology solutions to engineering and procurement audiences.
- Familiarity with system design, SoMs, or AI/ML edge solutions is a plus.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar systems.

• Act as the primary technical contact for Securiti AI solutions during the sales cycle • Lead technical discussions and deliver customized security solutions • Address customer needs in data discovery, posture management, and compliance • Design and present product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts • Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure smooth transitions
