Senior Dependency Engineer, Go
Xebia Poland
• Building Snap packages • Using LXD • Handling dependencies in a large monorepo-based ecosystem • Working with Go modules: understanding project structures, go.mod, and dependency types (required, indirect, extended) • Performing advanced semantic versioning (semver), including: version bumping, working with tags, updating modules, synchronizing versions across multiple repositories, migrating and updating dependencies across different repositories according to the release process
Job Requirements
- Ability to work between 8-16/9-17 East coast time in US (14:00-22:00 CET)
- Basic knowledge of LXD
- Familiarity with Ubuntu Snap / Snapcraft
- Working knowledge of Python
- Understanding of snapd and the broader Ubuntu ecosystem
- Experience with Launchpad
- Knowledge of Go, particularly dependency management in monorepo environments
- Hands-on experience with Go modules
- Experience working with go.mod files
- Strong understanding of semantic versioning
- Proficiency with Git and Gitflow
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for Go modules, including resolving module issues and dependency conflicts
- Very good communication skills (English at least B2)

• We are seeking a full-time Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic and growing engineering consulting practice. • The selected applicant will conduct commissioning, retro-commissioning energy audits, and limited HVAC/Mechanical design assistance services on a variety of property types. • Experience performing commissioning services, and cost/benefit analyses on energy improvements is a requirement for applying to this position. • A successful candidate has experience in performing functional testing and building inspections for a wide array of building systems to include but not limited to Air Handling Units, Chilled Water Systems, Hot Water Systems, Steam Systems, Power Distribution, Plumbing, and Emergency Systems. • Additionally, the candidate should be knowledgeable in building Test and Balance, usage of flow hoods, control system sensor calibration, and other calibrated testing instruments. • The ideal candidate will be adaptive to working with all property types, and knowledgeable about a variety of HVAC systems.
