Project Engineer
Commerce Controls
• Review the plans, specifications and proposals of the assigned project • Design responsibilities including the preparation and development of equipment and instrumentation submittals, schematic design, panel and subplate layouts, and bill of materials • Software development and programming responsibilities including PLC programming and HMI / SCADA graphics development • Field Commissioning to include hardware checkout, software debug and customer training • Collaboration and communications with customers, clients, owners, internal staff and project stakeholders • Documentation including project records, correspondences, and reports • Travel up to 25%, depending on job locations and business demand
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or in a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor’s degree with one year of experience, Associate’s degree with two years of experience or four years of direct experience with some college instruction
- Electrical I&C Design experience
- PLC programming (Allen-Bradley Studio5000, 500, 5 / Schneider EcoStruxure)
- HMI and SCADA programming (FactoryTalk ViewSE, ME / Wonderware / iFIX / VTSCADA / Ignition)
- MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) / MSSQL / Adobe

Energy Engineer

• Conduct retro-commissioning services • Perform energy audits at government facilities • Provide limited design assistance services on various property types • Conduct field inspections of government, commercial, industrial, healthcare, multifamily residential, manufacturing, and institutional properties • Collect relevant information for redesigning Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) • Perform energy benchmarking and cost/benefit analyses • Participate in energy modeling with eQUEST, TREAT, or similar software
• Perform Microsoft Windows Server administration in an Active Directory environment for multiple organizations; • Provide administration and maintenance of end users' computers and associated systems in various LAN/WAN environments; • Operating System installation for Windows Servers and Desktop systems; • Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination therefore; • Contribute to computer and network security using a variety of security-based software products and hardware appliances; • Provide corporate networking and infrastructure device(s) support, especially as it relates to the end user devices; • Provide 2nd and 3rd level contact and problem resolution to hardware, software and applications issues for customers; • Resolve user-reported technical issues using available resources while following documented procedures and policies; • Explain computer and software operations to technical and non-technical users; • Document, track and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution with our internal systems (RMM and case tracking systems); • Serve as liaison between customers and external support staff to assure accurate problem interpretation. Maintain communication with customers during the problem resolution process; • Work with third party IT vendors, providing management and oversight; and • Perform other duties as assigned.
