Role Description The Pre-Stressed Concrete Inspector is responsible for oversight of the fabrication facility's quality assurance on behalf of Bureau Veritas's client. The clients for these assignments are typically state Departments of Transportation or construction contractors. The inspector must have significant knowledge of Precast/Prestressed Concrete and demonstrable experience in a similar position. The skills required for this position include: - Communicating with the Project Manager to determine the specific requirements of a given work order, including the scope of work, deliverables, schedule, and budget for a particular assignment. - Communication with the Project Manager, fabrication shops, contractors, and other third parties to resolve schedule issues. - Ensuring that the services provided are performed in accordance with the project requirements and contract with the client. - Generating and processing timesheets, billing reports, and inspection reports in an expeditious and thorough manner, complying with all applicable deadlines. - Submitting all reports typewritten using Microsoft Word/Adobe Acrobat and electronically transmitting to the Project Manager. - Communicating information from the fabrication facility regarding upcoming assignments and potential work that Bureau Veritas could perform. - Maintaining a positive relationship between Bureau Veritas, the fabrication facility, and the client. - Ability to work remotely from the established Bureau Veritas offices. - Client-oriented approach with emphasis on understanding and fulfilling the needs of the client. - Detail-oriented with a dedication to the quality control and quality assurance process; ability to understand and read complex design and fabrication plans and specifications. - Excellent communication and documentation skills, with ability to communicate technical issues to the Project Manager, clients, and the fabrication facility. - Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required; knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Lotus Notes preferred. - Proficient use of modern communication and computer equipment including cell phones, laptop computers, and digital cameras. - Ability to multi-task and properly execute multiple simultaneous assignments without sacrificing efficiency or quality of the work. - Team player willing to work with clients, field staff, other Bureau Veritas offices, and the worldwide Bureau Veritas organization. Role Description The Regional HSE Manager supports implementation of HSE systems, processes, programs and compliance with all company, local, provincial, territory, state and federal regulations at the locations and/or projects within their assigned region. This leader will work directly with the Director of HSE and local business leaders to develop a culture of safety and environmental stewardship, where our employees’ safety and well-being is always first. This leader will serve as a technical expert and resource in HSE matters and serve as the leader/resource in their assigned areas of responsibility. As a member of the corporate HSE team, they will support their operations in the execution of HSE systems, programs, policies and processes. Field support, auditing, and continuous improvement will also be key responsibilities, requiring flexibility and significant travel (~50%). Role Description Bureau Veritas N.A., Inc. is seeking qualified Fire Plans Examiner for remote work in Texas. The ideal candidate will conduct plan reviews for residential and commercial buildings. Working under the direction of the Fire Program Manager, the Fire Plans Examiner is responsible for performing a full range of fire plan reviews and evaluations for complex fire systems, fuel storage tanks, fueling installations, high piled combustible storage, access control, general fire code reviews for commercial, industrial and residential buildings in accordance with the appropriate codes, and other applicable regulations. Role Description Estamos buscando um Coordenador técnico que contribuirá com atividades de analisar grandes volumes de dados operacionais e de projetos de engenharia.
