AI-Native Quality Engineer
Bestow
• Contribute to API verification using REST testing tools and schema-based checks • Help translate structured examples into executable verification artifacts • Support UI and integration automation aligned with documented behavior • Assist with test data setup and environment readiness • Contribute to CI/CD verification workflows • Analyze unexpected behavior discovered during automated execution • Improve signal quality from automated feedback loops • Support structured refinement activities that make software behavior explicit before implementation begins • Participate in Example Mapping and specification workshops with engineers and product managers • Translate feature ideas into structured scenarios and acceptance criteria • Capture assumptions, edge cases, and behavioral expectations early in development • Help create reusable specification templates and example libraries • Apply AI-assisted workflows to improve requirements clarity and consistency • Identify ambiguity before it becomes rework • Prototype AI-assisted approaches to specification generation • Experiment with prompt-driven verification workflows • Explore semantic regression detection techniques • Evaluate machine-interpretable documentation strategies • Integrate AI-assisted tooling into requirements and specifications, test generation, maintenance, failure analysis, and reporting workflows • Help identify innovative opportunities to improve engineering confidence using modern AI tooling
Job Requirements
- Recent college graduate or early career experience in software engineering, AI/ML workflows, or applied automation
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another modern programming language
- Hands-on experience working with APIs or modern web systems
- Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, prompt engineering, or evaluation workflows
- Ability to reason about system behavior through structured examples
- Strong written communication skills
- Curiosity about how complex systems behave under changing conditions
- Interest in learning modern validation and verification disciplines
- Preferred Experience
- LLM experimentation or prompt engineering
- Evaluation harnesses or benchmarking workflows
- JSON schema or OpenAPI

Role Description Leads teams or work that includes various testing methods, processes or tools. This may include manual, batch and/or automated testing and/or environment support to ensure all application/infrastructure changes meet company standards and end user requirements. - Effective use of tools to communicate software defects and testing status to development areas, peers and management. - Assesses risk associated with new application and software implementation. - Represents and promotes QA methodology across IT. - Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. - Provides assistance to team members with issues needing technical expertise. - Provides on the job training for new or less experienced team members. - Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. - Works independently with minimal guidance. - Frequently interacts with inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. - Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. - Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. - Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.
