Collaborating closely with Developers, Infrastructure Engineers, and Product teams to build and maintain resilient systems. The team focuses on automation, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), observability, and cloud-native operations to support Zoom’s UCaaS and CCaaS Services. This team is responsible for deploying and managing services across multi-cloud environments. The team handles multiple services like Zoom Phone, Zoom Contact Center, Zoom Virtual Agent and WorkForce Management. About the Team Zoom DevOps Engineers are the driving force behind the seamless functionality and continuous availability that defines the Zoom's unparalleled user experience. You will be responsible for building/deploying the Zoom UCaaS and CCaaS services, cloud infrastructure for these services, developing new automation to reduce manual effort, and being the on-call owner for assigned services Tech stack for this role includes Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, OCI, Git, CICD, Terraform, Redis, Python, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus. What you will bring: - Experience in on-call shifts and incident management and work after hours/weekends for application releases/deployments - Have experience in designing and implementing high availability cloud (AWS, OCI) and Cloud components like VPC, NLB, Security groups etc. - Kubernetes & Containerization: Manage production deployments and autoscaling/ backup of Kubernetes-based and Dockerized workloads for distributed, large-scale systems. Proactively monitor these systems for reliability and performance. Experience in building manifests and configuring production packages and deployments using Helm, Jfrog etc. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code to ensure automation and repeatability. - Have experience in using and administering various observability tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure production cluster health and performance. - Automation Development: Create and maintain automation using available frameworks reducing manual toil and improving operational efficiency. - Scripting & Coding: Write and maintain scripts and code primarily in Python, Bash, supporting automation, deployment, and monitoring tasks. - Awareness about production security management, IAM, Secrets/ TLS/ SSL, DDoS handling. Responsibilities: - Have 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Automating build pipelines, or SRE roles - Minimal Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. - Experience in Python/GO , Bash, Linux. - Have large scale cloud production environment deployment and monitoring experience. - Have worked in a 24X7 or 12X7 oncall rotation for DevOps/ SRE - Hands on experience Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, OCI, Git, CICD, Terraform, Grafana. - Good to have knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search.Prometheus / alert manager Ways of Working Our structured hybrid approach is centered around our offices and remote work environments.
