AWS Cloud Engineer
VINIL IT SERVICES PVT LTD
• Validating and defining the best cloud solution architecture for Client 5G ORAN Network • Interact closely with Client key partners as well as Technology, Engineering, Operations, and RF Teams • Track industry best practices and evolution of open source-based cloud native containerization and open-stack-based virtualization platforms • Identify and define best practices for virtualized and cloud-native RAN/CORE applications for mobile networks • Define product requirements and drive the product roadmap features • Follow the development life cycle to ensure market requirements are properly captured and implemented • Define Entry/Exit criteria for new software loads/releases migrating from Sandbox > Integration > Pre-production > Production environments • Define test cases and evaluate the performance behavior of new software releases • Support FOA/FFI testing and evaluation • Define automation call flows for zero-touch provisioning, commissioning, and management of the CORE & RAN solution • Identify product-specific requirements based on defined call flows
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a system engineering role
- Deep technical knowledge of Cloud Execution Environment & building of Cloud-native applications
- Proven success and expertise in architecting innovative solutions
- Knowledge in Open-stack & various flavors, Infrastructure Virtualization, System management, Cloud Environments, NFV/SDN functions, and PaaS.
- Cloud/ Virtualization Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack, OpenShift, VMware vSphere / Tanzu
- In-depth knowledge of cloud storage solutions on top of AWS, GCP, Azure, and/or on-perm private clouds, such as Ceph, CephFS, and GlusterFS
- DevOps Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform
- Backend Knowledge of Bash, Python, and Go
- PaaS Level solutions such as Keycloak for IAM, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and DBaaS (such as MySQL, and Cassandra)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenNESS, and experience in deploying cloud-native applications
- Good understanding and knowledge of BMC, IPMI, PXE boot, RedFish, etc. for management of the remote server
- Good understanding of mobile operator network & deployment architecture and security requirements
- Good understanding of 5G architecture and RAN concepts
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Low-level knowledge of virtualization environment KVM, Containers, Linux Kernel Optimization & Tuning
- Tools Knowledge such as Robot, Selenium, Harbor, Artifactory, and REST
- Good Knowledge of switching and routing configuration and protocols
- Hands-on experience with Open vSwitch, Multus SRIOV, and DPDK
- Front-End Knowledge of ReactJS, and Typescript (knowledge of other Front-End technologies is a plus)

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure and data pipelines on AWS • Combine DevOps and DataOps practices to ensure seamless infrastructure automation, data management, and deployment workflows • Collaborate cross-functionally with data, BI, and development teams to support critical business needs • Proactively identify improvements in automation, security, and cost efficiency • Build and maintain data architectures and ETL pipelines supporting BI and analytics • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt) and manage CI/CD pipelines for automation • Use Docker and Kubernetes to enable containerized, reliable deployments • Ensure cloud security, compliance, and cost efficiency across environments • Document best practices and share expertise to strengthen the team’s capabilities.
