Join our Team About this opportunity As an Account Manager within the Hong Kong Customer Unit, you will join a dedicated account team managing one of our key telecommunications customers in the region. Your primary mission is to protect and grow revenue, expand 5G and next-generation solutions, and ensure world-class delivery quality and customer satisfaction. You will act as the primary commercial interface, representing Ericsson's full portfolio to solve our customer's strategic challenges. This role is a critical backfill intended to ensure business continuity, protect the existing pipeline, and maintain high-level senior relationships. What you will do - Relationship Management: Own and develop the overall relationship for the assigned accounts, maintaining senior-level engagements and ensuring long-term partnership stability. - Strategic Alignment: Deeply understand the customer's business strategy and pain points, translating them into concrete opportunities for Ericsson's 5G and next-generation products and services. - Sales Leadership: Drive the end-to-end sales process: from opportunity identification and qualification to value creation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing multi-million dollar deals. - Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead a virtual account team (including Solution Architects, Service Delivery, Finance, and Legal) to secure high-quality proposals and seamless execution without formal authority. - Planning & Forecasting: Develop and maintain robust short- and long-term account plans, ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and proactive risk mitigation. - Commercial Excellence: Secure contract quality and profitability by working closely with Commercial Management to optimize business terms and margins. - Customer Success: Follow up on ongoing deliveries to ensure high satisfaction (CSAT), proactively addressing any commercial or relationship friction. You will bring (Essential Skills & Experience) - Industry Expertise: Solid experience in B2B Sales or Account Management specifically within Telecom or IT sectors is essential. - Stakeholder Management: A proven track record of managing and developing relationships at multiple levels, particularly with senior stakeholders. - Commercial Acumen: Strong financial and commercial skills, including business case building, pricing strategies, contract understanding, and a sharp focus on margins. - Consultative Selling: A natural ability to listen, challenge, and co-create solutions rather than "pushing products." - Communication: Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. Fluency in English and Cantonese is mandatory. - Leadership: The ability to drive results within a matrixed, multicultural environment and lead cross-functional teams effectively. - Education: University degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or equivalent experience. Note: While 5G technical specifics and Ericsson-internal tools/processes can be learned on the job, the fundamental B2B sales expertise and language skills are prerequisites. - Cumplir con los procesos de negocio adoptados por la Compañía y realizar las tareas establecidas por el Team Leader. - Conocer y gestionar todos los servicios y productos relevantes de la Compañía. - Realizar contactos a través de teléfono, correo electrónico y mensajería instantánea para vender servicios y productos a nuevos clientes. - Realizar llamadas a nuevos clientes. - Registrar correctamente y de manera responsable todos los contactos con los clientes en el sistema CRM. - Analizar las situaciones actuales del mercado con los clientes para mantener su interés en los mercados financieros. - Cumplir con los parámetros estándar para las comunicaciones diarias con los clientes. - Cumplir con los requisitos de calidad para las comunicaciones con los clientes, de acuerdo con los parámetros aprobados por la Compañía. - Analizar las acciones de los competidores y los comentarios de los clientes. - Comunicar información relevante al Team Leader.
- Recruit/look for new Affiliates/IBs and maintain existing relationships with current Affiliates/IBs - Maintain and monitor affiliate programs and activities - Communicate with clients to answer questions and resolve issues with their accounts - Search for Affiliate/Traffic networks and negotiate with them to cooperate with our affiliate program in accordance with our terms - Negotiate contracts with new affiliates or renew existing agreements with existing partners - Create proposals for new affiliate relationships based on estimated returns on investment (ROI) - Monitor affiliate websites for fraudulent activity or policy violations such as spamming or publishing confidential information - Review sales reports to determine which campaigns are producing results and which ones need to be improved or discontinued - Analyze demographic data and statistics to identify emerging markets and opportunities for new products or services - Coordinate with the creative team in order to prepare the conversion promo materials for Affiliates for specific GEO (landing pages, teasers, banners) - Write marketing briefs and work with our creative team to develop assets for campaigns - Initiate new campaign ideas and bonus offers for affiliates - Represent company at international events (exhibitions, meetups, seminars, etc.)
