Job Requirements

  • Strong industry experience of 3+ years
  • Extensive background in algorithms and strong software architecture skills
  • Fluency in C/C++ programming
  • Hands-on experience with designs and implementations in a strong product-engineering environment
  • Strong software debugging skills especially in embedded systems
  • Experience with software development for the forwarding ASICs, FPGAs, Network Processors etc
  • Experience with hardware abstraction layer Datapath forwarding for ACLs, QoS, Unicast, Multicast, EVPN MPLS, VXLAN, OAM etc
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience working through the complete software development life cycle right from requirements gathering to deliver the fully developed feature
  • Strong engineering and Computer Science fundamentals
  • Extensive background in algorithms and strong software architecture skills
  • 5+ years fluency in one of C/C++/Python programming

Job Overview: The primary role of the Victim Services Caseworker is to provide comprehensive, victim-centered case management services for victims of crime, including human trafficking. The Caseworker is responsible for completing eligibility screenings, developing service plans, educating clients on available resources and legal rights, and addressing barriers to service access. This role also supports programmatic and administrative functions, including documentation, case file management, and data tracking, in alignment with donor and program requirements. Major Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Core Service Delivery - Provide comprehensive case management services, including assisting clients in accessing community resources, making referrals to legal providers, and supporting service plan implementation. - Conduct eligibility screenings and complete enrollment paperwork for all program participants. - Assess and evaluate client needs and develop individualized service plans, including safety planning and self-sufficiency tracking. - Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed support to victims and their families, including emotional support, education on victim rights, and assistance navigating the criminal justice process. - Assist clients with compensation applications and interventions with landlords, employers, and other stakeholders as needed. - Ensure client needs are addressed in a timely, client-centered manner. Documentation, Data & Compliance - Maintain accurate and timely case notes and client records in accordance with program and donor requirements. - Track program activities, compile data, and support reporting requirements. - Manage case files and ensure proper documentation of services provided. - Support compliance with all IRC policies, procedures, and donor regulations. Outreach & Partnerships - Build and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal stakeholders, including law enforcement and service providers. - Conduct outreach to identify and support victims of crime and human trafficking across Arizona. - Support development and implementation of outreach and training activities to meet program goals. - Strengthen collaboration with community partners, coalitions, and service networks. Team & Program Engagement - Participate fully in program meetings, trainings, and staff development activities. - Support overall program implementation and contribute to team-based service delivery. - May train and support interns and volunteers. Other - Develop and maintain knowledge of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) and related policies. - Complete required trainings, including OVC’s Understanding Human Trafficking Training. - Use personal, insured vehicle or public transportation to travel within the service area as needed. - Adhere to IRC policies, the IRC Way, and Child Safeguarding standards. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field strongly preferred; equivalent experience may substitute. Work Experience: - 2+ years of related work experience; 1-year minimum working with victims of crime or other vulnerable populations. - Case management and/or victims assistance experience preferred Demonstrated Skills and Competencies: - Excellent written and spoken English skills - Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented - Excellent writing and analytical skills - Public Speaking and/or presentation experience preferred - Ability to effectively communicate and work as a team member with collaborative partners, the community, and clients in a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment - Computer literacy, data base experience preferred - Ability to work independently and be a flexible team player Language Skills: - Fluency in written and spoken English, bilingual ability preferred in Dari, Spanish, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Arabic, French or other refugee/immigrant language used in Arizona. Cross-cultural understanding and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Certificates or Licenses: - Must have a valid driver’s license, active insurance policy, access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel regularly throughout the service delivery area. - In accordance with Arizona State Law, must possess or be eligible to receive a fingerprint clearance card. Working Environment: - A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. - Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. - Must be able to lift 35–50 pounds (furniture, household supplies, food boxes). Compensation: (Pay Range: $22.23 - $22.59) Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
