Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business discipline or equivalent work experience. - Minimum 5 years of experience as a database engineer with at least 2 years in CI/CD. - Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2019 and newer) and high availability strategies. - Proficiency in T-SQL development and performance tuning. - Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across various database tools and RDBMS. - Experience with Cloud Platforms and automation using PowerShell. - Familiarity with advanced SQL language concepts and Oracle databases is a plus. - Experience in working with large datasets and data warehousing. - Hands-on experience with monitoring and performance tools. - Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent certification is preferred. WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON - Collaborative Infrastructure Design: You will work closely with the DevOps team to suggest and design solutions for our infrastructure. Knowledge in Amazon Aurora, NoSQL, Columnar DBs, and/or Timeseries is a plus. - Automation Mindset: You have a strong background in scripting and automation to manage production environments efficiently. - AI: having the skill to use AI tools to assist with coding or monitoring is a great advantage.
