Job Description
AI Intern & Assistant to CEO
GreenChoice, PBC
Role Description We're looking for a hungry, sharp AI Intern to work directly with GreenChoice's Founder & CEO as a right hand on business development, growth, and operations. This isn't a "sit in the corner and take notes" internship — you'll own real pipeline, run real outreach, and earn real commission on deals you help close. This is an AI-native role. You'll use AI tools daily — not as a novelty, but as your core operating system. You'll: - Build outreach workflows with AI - Draft and refine messaging with AI - Research prospects with AI - Create and distribute content with AI - Propose entirely new ways to use AI to accelerate our sales motion and operations If you're already using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools to get more done in less time, you'll thrive here. If you're not yet but are dying to learn, even better — you'll get hands-on mentorship building real AI-powered workflows in a live business context. You'll lead prospecting, cold outreach, and drip campaigns targeting enterprise partners across multiple verticals, scheduling meetings and moving deals forward for the CEO. If you're the kind of person who teaches yourself new tools over a weekend, writes crisp emails that actually get replies, and gets a genuine thrill from booking a meeting with a tough prospect — this role will reward you. Qualifications - Current undergraduate or graduate student (or recent grad) — business, marketing, communications, CS, data science, or related field - AI-curious and AI-capable — you're already using AI tools to work faster, or you're eager to dive in and learn - Exceptional written communicator — you write emails people actually want to read - Naturally curious, resourceful, and self-directed — you don't wait to be told what to do - Organized and reliable — you follow up without being asked - Interested in food, health, sustainability, or retail tech (a plus, not a requirement) - No prior BD or sales experience required — hunger and aptitude matter more than a resume Requirements - Research and build targeted prospect lists across GreenChoice's key verticals using AI-powered research and enrichment - Write and execute cold outreach sequences and drip campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone) — drafting with AI, refining with judgment - Build and manage lead nurture workflows to keep prospects warm and move them through the pipeline - Schedule discovery calls and demos for senior leadership - Track pipeline, manage follow-ups, and keep CRM (HubSpot) tight - Collaborate directly with the CEO on sales strategy, pitch refinement, and deal progression - Help prepare proposals, one-pagers, and sales collateral - Build AI-powered automations for content creation and distribution — social posts, email campaigns, newsletters, and sales collateral - Design and optimize lead nurture sequences using AI tools to personalize at scale - Streamline internal operations by identifying manual processes and building AI-driven workflows to replace them - Experiment with and propose new AI-powered approaches across BD, marketing, and ops — you'll be expected to think creatively about what's possible Benefits - Uncapped commission on deals you help close — realistic path to $50K/year at 20 hours/week - Hands-on AI training: Learn to build real AI-powered business workflows for sales, marketing, and operations — not theoretical exercises - Direct mentorship from the Founder & CEO of a venture-backed, mission-driven company - A portfolio of real work: campaigns you built, pipeline you generated, automations you shipped, deals you helped close - For-credit internship: Students are responsible for coordinating credit approval with their university — GreenChoice will sign required agreements and provide evaluations - Flexible schedule built around your classes - A front-row seat to how an early-stage startup sells, grows, and operates
