Job Description

Senior Product Manager

vCluster Labs

• Technical Roadmap Ownership: Drive the strategic direction for vCluster, translating high-level vision into clear product requirements and detailed technical specifications that enable efficient engineering execution. • Founder Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with leaders to navigate complex technical decisions, ensuring our architecture remains the gold standard for multi-tenant Kubernetes. • Hands-on Validation: Go deep with engineering to scope features, validate implementations, and personally test alpha/beta builds to ensure we are shipping enterprise-grade infrastructure. • Customer Intelligence: Engage directly with platform engineers at world-class organizations to gather feedback, understand real-world use cases, and identify the next "zero-to-one" opportunity for the product. • Market Positioning: Conduct rigorous competitive analysis of the cloud-native ecosystem and partner with GTM teams to ensure our messaging resonates with highly technical buyers. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the ultimate bridge between Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring that what we build aligns perfectly with how we sell and support our customers.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping platform services, cloud-native infrastructure, or distributed systems.
  • Infrastructure Provider Background: You have experience building "Kubernetes-as-a-Service" offerings, whether as a managed service for a cloud provider or as a centralized on-prem platform for a large-scale enterprise.
  • Technical Depth: You are "K8s-native." You understand controllers, CRDs, and API machinery. You are comfortable going toe-to-toe with senior engineers on complex system architecture and multi-tenant isolation.
  • AI & MLOps Infrastructure: You understand the infrastructure requirements of the modern era, specifically regarding MLOps, AI infrastructure (GPU slicing/scheduling), and LLM deployment patterns.
  • Founding Grit: You thrive in ambiguity and are excited to build the product management playbook from scratch. You take extreme ownership and drive outcomes without needing a pre-defined process.
  • Strategic Execution: You have "seen this before" and know how to scale a technical product from early adoption to a predictable, market-leading engine.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: We offer a competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Platinum-Level Insurance: Health, dental, vision, and life Insurance, including plans for you and eligible dependents (benefits vary depending on country).
  • Flexible Working Schedule: You have a doctor’s appointment or need to head to the supermarket to get groceries at 2pm? We won’t have an issue with that. To us, results matter more than clocking in and out at the same time every day.
  • Workplace Flexibility: We’re very flexible about where you work. We know things can change in life and we’re happy to adjust the work environment for you along the way.
