Digital Communications Specialist

MedComms Experts

• Research digital trends, tools, and strategies to bring new ideas to expand digital engagement and reach • Draft omnichannel frameworks and channel strategies to reach HCP audiences across a variety of therapeutic areas • Support the creation, scheduling, and delivery of email marketing campaigns and newsletters • Support the creation and execution of paid media strategies including paid search and paid social • Research and guide use of social platforms to drive HCP awareness, and manage social media platforms and tools • Update and manage content across multiple websites • Provide internal trainings on digital tools and platforms, create SOPs and documentation, and provide ad hoc support to team members • Work closely with internal teams to support digital projects from concept to delivery • Support video strategy, creation and dissemination • Support metrics tools, build processes and provide insights to guide future strategies and demonstrate impact through storytelling • Assist with SEO strategies to help boost visibility and reach across multiple websites

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience using a variety of digital communication tools including websites, content management systems, email platforms, social media and paid media/search
  • Strong understanding of the principles of digital communications strategy
  • Understanding of the role of omnichannel strategy in reaching audiences
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Experience with pharmaceutical and medical affairs teams, including legal and compliance, is an advantage
  • Experience with Mailchimp, Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Google Ads, and WordPress is an advantage

About this Position The Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting company-wide, multi-channel communication efforts targeted at over 150,000 Primerica sales force members in US, Canada, Puerto Rico and Guam for company news, events, services, products and software tools. The Digital Communications Specialist will help create, support, execute, and measure the success of a variety of communications. Deliverables may include: emails, app notifications, text messages, product announcements, release notes, newsletters, technical and operational internal announcements, etc. Attention to detail and the ability to follow complex, yet well-defined processes and procedures are crucial to a candidate’s success in this position. The successful candidate also maintains a current understanding of email marketing best practices, standards, trends and applies them to the execution of Primerica’s communication efforts. The estimated salary range for this role is: 70K - 90K USD Annual Responsibilities & Qualifications Responsibilities Execution: Perform day-to-day communication execution activities including, but not limited to: Intake and management of multiple communications requests from across the company with varying deadlines Write HTML/CSS code; set-up, scheduling, testing and troubleshooting inbox rendering of messages; follow detailed procedures for setup and review of all communications. Create HTML templates; maintain system logos and graphics to support communication efforts. Manage approval workflow through internal and requestor review phases. Work with a variety of internal partners such as graphics designers, writers, instructional designers, business analysts, quality assurance analysts, programmers, and executives as needed. Testing: Ongoing testing for continuous improvement, drawing on best practices from marketing research and knowledge. Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of message execution or marketing platform usage. Integrate text and graphics into system templates which often requires adjustment to HTML coding and consistent testing of results and rendering. Monitoring/Analysis: Monitoring/analyzing communications performance and engagement activity. Reporting: Presentation of engagement statistics as requested by various departments to help them understand the results of their communication efforts. Research: Understand the dynamics of marketing campaigns, the digital behavior of audience segments, marketing best practices/standards/trends through competitive landscape analysis to recommend new communication and marketing tactics.
