Project Manager - HVAC Installation

Role Description The Installation Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the installation of products, equipment, or systems for clients, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role involves coordinating and managing the entire installation process, including logistics, scheduling, resource allocation, and communication between clients, vendors, and installation teams. While the position is remote, the ideal candidate should be located in the Central FL area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and budget. - Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external contractors to ensure all project requirements are met. - Organize and manage the logistics of equipment, materials, and resources needed for installation. - Lead and supervise installation teams to ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols. - Allocate tasks and schedule team members based on their skills and experience. - Provide training or guidance to installation staff as necessary. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the installation phase. - Provide regular updates on project status, delays, and adjustments. - Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients. - Ensure that all installations are completed to high standards of quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements. - Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout the installation process. - Monitor project budgets, ensuring that the project stays within financial constraints. - Approve purchase orders for necessary materials and equipment. - Manage and track project expenses and invoicing. - Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Resolve unforeseen issues or delays promptly to minimize disruptions to the installation schedule. - Maintain comprehensive records of project milestones, changes, and issues. - Prepare reports for management on project status, performance, and financial outcomes. - Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate for post-installation support. - Ensure smooth handover of the installed systems/products to the client. - Coordinate any required post-installation support or troubleshooting. - Embodies the CoolSys CARES culture (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Empowerment, Safety). - Performs other duties as assigned.
