Role Description VBA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Integration Analyst II to join our growing team. In this client-facing role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between healthcare clients, vendors, and internal technical teams to ensure successful system implementations and data integrations. This position requires a strong blend of analytical thinking, technical understanding, and communication skills to translate complex healthcare data requirements into actionable deliverables. - Lead requirements gathering sessions. - Interpret X12 file formats (such as 834, 837, and 835). - Support the implementation of customized file solutions. - Work closely with EDI Developers, developers, and business stakeholders to map, validate, and troubleshoot data files. - Ensure accuracy and alignment with client needs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, brings a passion for precision and process, and is committed to delivering exceptional client service. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analyst type role. - Experience with file integrations. - Familiarity with X12 Files (834, 837I, 837P, 837D, 835, 278, etc). - Proficient in requirements gathering and quality assurance testing. - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Highly organized with good time management skills. - Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external. - Strong presentation and negotiation skills. - Foster a team environment. Requirements - Experience in the Healthcare space is a plus. - Ability to prioritize & plan work activities and manage multiple projects. - Critical thinking, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. - Demonstrating ingenuity. Responsibilities - Build strong personal relationships with clients and their vendors. - Act as a liaison between the client, trading partners and internal teams. - Support Development Staff by providing interface mapping, testing, quality assurance, documentation and functional support with minimal direction. - Facilitate calls with clients and/or vendors to complete requirements gathering and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. - Promote professional communication etiquette through all communication outlets with clients and/or vendors. - Research and resolve production issues. - Provide internal support as needed. - Work with Proprietary Enrollment, Claim, Accum, Auth, ID Cards, Payment, X12 file types (834, 837I, 837P, 837D, 278, 835 etc.). - All other duties as assigned.
